Brief Introduction

The AMR series taphole block is made of high purity fused magnesia. It consists of large crystal magnesia and high purity flake graphite, added with special antioxidant and resin binders. Monolithic taphole blocks are usually shaped by cold isostatic presses, while assembly taphole blocks are shaped by friction presses. Both of them have outstanding properties including good anti-oxidization properties, high strength, superior resistance to erosion and corrosion providing longer service times.
